Palm trees, sand and sea make an open setting for a relaxed portrait or a slow walking shot along the shore.
The real viewpoint
Jakub Hałun identified this photograph as Bãi Cháy beach, taken on 29 January 2024. The palms create vertical lines against a broad sandy foreground, with the sea behind them. The setting works for both wide landscapes and vertical portraits.
Framing the photograph
From an accessible sandy area, use two palm trunks to frame the sea. Move sideways a little so a trunk does not appear directly behind the person’s head. On an overcast day, use the soft light to keep skin tones and landscape detail natural.
Posing suggestions
Stand to one side, turn your shoulders slightly and look along the beach. Take a slow step with arms relaxed or sandals held low. Keep the horizon from cutting across the neck.
On-site notes
Sandbanks and landscape layout may vary. Use photos as identification reference, check signs and do not go into private areas to find the exact coconut tree in the photo.
